Coming to the market
Three places, depending on the season: the City Hall lot downtown on winter and spring Sundays, Pine Forest Charter School on summer Saturdays, and Heritage Square on summer Wednesdays. Here's everything you need for an easy visit to any of them.
Parking downtown (City Hall and Heritage Square)
The City Hall lot (211 W Aspen Ave) is free to park in on weekends and after 5 PM on weekdays, so the Sunday market parks free right at the venue. For the Wednesday market at Heritage Square, the City Hall lot is two blocks west and free after 5 PM.
Downtown street meters are $2 an hour, enforced 9 AM to 5 PM Sunday through Thursday and 9 AM to 8 PM Friday and Saturday. Some nearby residential blocks are permit-only; read the signs. The City Hall lot has EV chargers (they are paid, not free).
Parking at Pine Forest
The Saturday market sets up in the Pine Forest Charter School lot at 2257 E Cedar Ave, at the corner of Fourth Street and Cedar. Park along Cedar Avenue and walk in; please leave the school's neighbors' driveways clear.
Getting there without a car
Mountain Line Route 5 (Orange) serves Flagstaff City Hall from the Downtown Connection Center, hourly on weekends; Heritage Square is a two-minute walk from the same stop. Route 2 (Blue) stops at Cedar Avenue and Fourth Street for the Pine Forest market. Check Mountain Line for current weekend times.
Dogs
Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome at our City Hall Sunday markets, one of the things that sets them apart from the summer Community Market at the same lot, which doesn't allow dogs. Please keep them close in the crowd and clean up after them. We're confirming the dog policy for the school lot at Pine Forest and for Heritage Square.
Paying & food assistance
Bring a card and a little cash; most vendors take cards, and some are cash-only. The Mountain-Town Market is listed in the USDA SNAP Retailer Locator at both its Pine Forest and City Hall locations, so SNAP/EBT is accepted; ask at the market how it works with each vendor. We're confirming whether Double Up Food Bucks applies.

High-country weather
Flagstaff sits at about 7,000 feet. Summer afternoons can bring quick monsoon storms, winter Sundays can be cold and bright, and it cools off fast once the sun drops. Bring a layer, sun protection, and water, and on an unsettled day check Instagram before you head out in case weather affects the market.
Accessibility & amenities
The City Hall lot, the Pine Forest lot and Heritage Square are all paved and largely flat. We're putting together complete details on restrooms, seating, and accessibility for each location.
